My journey into the world of taxation began unexpectedly.  Imagine at 17 years old, you find yourself experiencing the confusion, fear, and helplessness of being audited by the IRS — not knowing what to do or where to turn for help, feeling hopeless!  That experience ignited a passion within me and revealed my purpose: to become a tax expert who can help others resolve their tax issues with the confidence of knowing someone's there who cares.  

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, I began preparing taxes for my family and friends.  Those early experiences tested my resilience and determination in navigating the complexities of the tax system.  As tax laws changed, I continued my education and earned my Master’s degree in Accounting and later my Master's degree in Business Administration.

Being driven by my desire to deepen my understanding of the intricacies of the tax system, I began a rewarding career with the IRS as an Internal Revenue Agent.  This exposure helped me realize that majority of business formations were done in error.  After 18 years of service, I decided it was time to return to private practice - bringing with me a unique combination of in-depth accounting principles, business formation knowledge, extensive interpretation of IRS Code and procedures, effective debt resolution, and overall expertise with federal and state tax compliance.

I don’t want to be known as just another tax preparer or accounting firm; I want to be recognized as a business expert who truly cares—someone dedicated to helping taxpayers stay compliant, confident, and empowered.  More than anything, I understand firsthand how overwhelming tax challenges can be, both financially and emotionally, and that’s why I’m committed to making a difference—one taxpayer at a time.
